Providing Safe, Competent & Ethical Physical Therapy in BC
Bylaws are developed by the College and, following a consultation period, are approved by the Government of BC. The College Bylaws set out the details of how CPTBC operationalizes the Health Professions Act and Physical Therapists Regulation on a day to day basis:
- governance of the Board
- the role and responsibilities of statutory committees and the Registrar
- the creation of categories of registration
- outlining CPTBC’s quality assurance program
- setting out requirements for health professions corporations
- other administrative matters
