The College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) regulates nine health professions in BC: registered audiologists, dietitians, hearing instrument practitioners, occupational therapists, opticians, optometrists, physical therapists, psychologists, and speech-language pathologists. CHCPBC protects the public by ensuring that these health professionals have the competencies needed to practise and that they adhere to the standards needed for safe and ethical care.

Call for Indigenous artists: commemorative artwork for CHCPBC TRC anniversary report
CHCPBC invites submissions from Indigenous artists to create a commemorative piece of visual art to be featured as the cover and integrated throughout our upcoming report marking the 10-year anniversary of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action.

Notice of Public Consultation: CHCPBC Bylaws under the HPOA
CHCPBC is in the process of public consultation on draft bylaws under the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA). This consultation is open to all members of the public. The draft bylaws will be released for consultation in groups over a two-month period.

When CHCPBC was formed in the summer of 2024, our logo featured bright green stars, accompanied by light and dark blue text. Six months later, we began the process of replacing this logo on our website and documents with an enhanced version. Why the re-brand for such a new organization?
