Seeking PTs to Work as Inspectors

Are you a PT with five or more years of experience? Do you live and/or work in a region outside of Vancouver? Are you interested in helping the College’s Inquiry Committee to protect the public interest in the practice of physiotherapy?

We seek new inspectors to assist the Inquiry Committee in conducting spot audits of clinical records for PTs in various regions around BC. Regions of need include the interior (Kamloops, Kelowna, Vernon, Pemberton), Lower Mainland, and coastal mountain region.

Inspectors who perform spot audits for the College receive support from CPTBC staff and special training matching the assigned work level. Inspector work is occasional and compensated; travel and incidental expenses are reimbursed when necessary. With advance notice, inspectors are required to have some flexibility in their schedules, as they may be required to attend clinics during regular business hours.

To apply, submit your cover letter (indicating why you would like to work with the College’s Inquiry Committee as an inspector) and resume to Phillipa Stanaway, Deputy Registrar, Inquiry and Discipline at
