COVID-19: Increased Case Numbers Serve as a Reminder

On March 29 and April 19, 2021, Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Henry, announced new restrictions in response to increasing case numbers and the more transmissible COVID-19 variants. This is a good reminder that as physical therapists we must continue to be vigilant in adhering to our workplace COVID-19 safety plans and to provide physical therapy services virtually whenever appropriate. Our website lists resources to ensure we are doing everything we can to minimize virus transmission.

The College’s updated Point of Care Risk Assessment Guide outlines how physical therapists can assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
