CAPR Cancels Clinical Component of PCE

The College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (College) was notified on Saturday, March 20, 2021, that due to technical challenges, the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) was forced to cancel the clinical component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam, scheduled on March 20 and 21, 2021.

We acknowledge the immense impact the cancellation has on candidates who have invested their time, energy, and effort to prepare for this day as well as their families. In the short term, the College is working with our partners including CAPR, other provincial physical therapy regulators, our Board of Directors, Registration Committee and government to explore options and make decisions about next steps.

Every effort will be made to ensure timely communication once we have more information to share.
