Building a great Board is more than simply filling a seat. It’s about finding physical therapists with the skills and perspectives that align with the College’s vision, goals and objectives. It’s about building a Board that has a blend of expertise, diverse perspectives and spheres of influence. It’s about finding people who have the interests of the public first and foremost.
The Board has developed a document outlining Board of Directors Core Competencies (PDF) to better articulate the range of competencies required in a position. So, think about nominating or approaching a colleague who may be interested in running for election.
We’ll have more information in the February issue of CPTBC e-newsletter.
