Our BC Physio Forum held on March 3, 2018 at the Westin Bayshore was a success! This year, the schedule was packed with an impressive range of speakers offered in three concurrent sessions following the keynote presentation Positioning Physiotherapy for Success.
More than 350 individuals participated this year. Feedback of the day included the words invigorating, refreshing and engaging! Some of the most highly rated sessions included: Every Motor Event is a Sensory Event First: Anxiety, Emotional Regulation and Postural Control, In Harm’s Way – Strategies to Address Self Harm and Abuse Panel Discussion, and Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.
CPTBC’s new format for the AGM was well received and the College was pleased to have invited guest speaker Michelle DeGroot from the First Nations Health Authority to talk about Hardwiring Cultural Safety and Humility in Health Care Today.
A big thank you to the Forum planning committee, the organizers and volunteers for putting together such a fantastic day!
